At Emersome Big Racks Ranch, women have emerged as the largest growing demographic in hunting for a variety of reasons. In recent years, there has been a noticeable shift in societal attitudes towards gender roles and outdoor activities, leading to increased acceptance of women in traditionally male-dominated fields. Furthermore, the rising interest in sustainability and the locavore movement has spurred more women to embrace hunting as a means of procuring ethically sourced, organic meat. The empowerment of women in outdoor pursuits, as well as the proliferation of female-oriented hunting organizations and mentorship programs, has played a pivotal role in encouraging women to participate in this age-old tradition. As a result, the female hunting community continues to expand, enriching the hunting culture with diversity and a fresh perspective.
